Beyond the Gorillas: Uganda Safaris

Gorilla habituation is what we specialize in, but it’s rarely the only thing on a guest’s Uganda itinerary. We run genuine safaris across the rest of the country too — here’s where our guests go before or after their forest days.

One Country, Several Very Different Trips

Uganda packs tree-climbing lions, the source of the Nile, chimpanzee trekking, golden monkeys and a crater-lake region into a single, compact country — most of it a manageable drive from Bwindi. Guests doing the Habituation Experience commonly extend their trip by three to seven days to take in one or two of the destinations below, rather than treating Bwindi as a standalone visit.

Every destination on this page is one we operate ourselves — not a referral to another operator. Tell us which ones interest you when you enquire and we’ll build a single itinerary spanning all of it.
