Ruhija Gorilla Safari Lodge is a mid-range to upmarket lodge in the Ruhija sector of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, close to the start of Ruhija’s gorilla treks. Accommodation is in en-suite cabins, offered in several categories.

Ruhija sits at around 2,300 metres on Bwindi’s eastern ridge. It is cooler and quieter than the other sectors, with several habituated gorilla families for standard treks and the best birding in the park along the Mubwindi Swamp trail.
Staying in the sector you are trekking from means a short transfer on trek morning. If you also want the four-hour Gorilla Habituation Experience, plan separate nights in Rushaga, several hours away.
