Rushaga Trailhead Camp

A ten-tent camp a short drive from park headquarters — the tier most of our habituation guests actually book.

Overview

Rushaga Trailhead Camp runs ten walk-in canvas tents on raised timber platforms, each with its own attached bathroom — a flush toilet and a solar-heated bucket shower. It’s simpler than a lodge, but well-run, and it consistently gets mentioned by past habituation guests for one specific thing: the kitchen adjusts breakfast timing to match the earlier departure a habituation day requires, without you having to ask twice.

Meals are taken together in a mess tent, and there’s a communal campfire most evenings where guides and guests end up swapping stories from the day’s trek. It’s the default lodging tier built into our Habituation Immersion package pricing.
