Detailed itinerary for 8 Days Uganda safari
Day 1: Depart to Lake Mburo National Park
You will be picked by your drive from your Hotel, embark on the journey to Lake Mburo national park traveling southwestern part of Uganda with a stop at the Mpambire drum makers center and the Equator to the photographs. Upon arrival at the park, have lunch at the lodge and an afternoon game drive through the park where you will take a glance at different animals like the zebras, impalas among others. Drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight

Day 2: Head to Bwindi Impenetrable forest national park
After morning breakfast, drive to Bwindi impenetrable forest national park southwestern part of Uganda passing via Mbarara town which is endowed with beautiful landscapes, and various rolling hills with terraces. Day 3: Mountain Gorilla trekking and community walk experience
After morning breakfast, transfer to the headquarters with packed lunch where you will be briefed by the professional park rangers. After the briefing enter the forest to trek mountain gorillas as it takes unpredictable time in the forest as gorillas move in different directions in search of food. Once you see the primates, you are only allowed 1 hour with the primates. Back to lodge and later in the evening to take a walk in various communities such as Batwa community where you will interact with them and learn a lot from them before you retire at your lodge
Day 4: Head to Queen Elizabeth national park
Enjoy your breakfast, and after head to Queen Elizabeth national park passing through the Ishasha sector which is home to tree-climbing lions. The park has a variety of wildlife species such as elephants, buffaloes, waterbucks, lions among others. Upon arrival check-in at the lodge and an evening game drive where you will be able to see various animals and bird species. Retire to the lodge for overnight and dinner.

Day 5: game drive safari and launch cruise
An early morning breakfast, and continue to a game drive where you will see animals like lions, buffaloes, kobs, elephants among others. Head back to the lodge for lunch, after lunch head for a boat cruise on the Kazinga channel that is home to various animals such as crocodiles, elephants, and hippos among others. Day 6: Head to Kibale national park
On this day, you will stay at your lodge for relaxing and settling of the minds until the evening and embark to the journey to Kibale national park, which is a home to chimpanzees, check-in at the lodge for dinner and overnight

Day 7: Chimpanzee trekking activity and Bigodi wetland walk
Have breakfast, move to the park headquarters where you will brief about chimpanzee trekking. After briefing embarks on the trekking through the forest with an armed ranger guide. Nothing is amazing as having time with the chimpanzees in their natural habitat. You will see other primates like golden monkeys, grey checked mangabeys, LHoest’s monkeys, bush babies among others
After tracking chimpanzees, return to the lodge for lunch and head for a walk in the Bigodi wetlands where you will different people that stay there. Including bird species such as the Great blue turaco and more primates like the bush pigs, otters, baboons among others. Retire to the lodge for overnight and dinner
Day 8: Depart to Kampala
After your Hefty breakfast, drive to Kampala via Mubende-Mityana sightseeing beautiful scenic views along the way. With a lunch en-route in Mubende town, drop off at your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe International Airport.
